Like most other email client databases, you can export your MS Outlook email address contacts as a Comma Separated Value (.csv) file to import into another database or email application.
First, you will need to export your email contacts from MS Outlook:
(Outlook 2007, 2010)
- Select File | Options | Advanced | then click on the Export button.
- Make sure Export to a file is highlighted.
- Click Next.
- Now make sure Comma Separated Values (Windows) is selected.
- Click Next again.
- Highlight the Contacts folder.
- Click Next.
- Use the Browse… button to specify a location and file name for the exported contacts (Choose your Desktop or some other location where you will be able to find the file easily later.)
- Click Next (once more).
- Now click Finish.
Once the .csv file is saved, you can easily import your Outlook contacts into GroupMail.
