If you use a Customer Resource Management (CRM) service or application like Salesforce, you can easily export your contacts from that CRM environment and import them into GroupMail for your next email marketing campaign.

You can sign up to receive backup files of your data from Salesforce. You can export all of your organizations data into a set of .csv (comma separated value) files which can easily be imported into GroupMail. To sign up for the Data Export Service, contact Salesforce for more information.

If your organization is configured for data export, then you can manually generate backup files of your contacts and other data once every 6 days and even schedule them to export automatically at weekly or monthly intervals.

To manually export your contacts from Salesforce, click Setup/Data Management and select the data you want exported. Then, click Export Now (or Schedule Export). The Export Now option prepares your files for export immediately. The Schedule Export option allows you to schedule the export process at weekly or monthly intervals. Your files will export as .csv files. These files may be zipped if they are large, so you might have to unzip them prior to viewing the actual .csv files.

Here are instructions for how to import the .csv files that you exported from Salesforce into GroupMail.

Thats all there is to it !
