“The person responsible for sending our email newsletter is no longer with the company and I need to install GroupMail on a different computer. Is there an easy way to move all of our existing files, groups, messages and settings from the old XP computer to the new one?”

Yes! Here’s how to move your GroupMail settings, groups, and messages from one Windows XP computer to another:

1. First, install the latest version of GroupMail on both the old and the new computer so you are running compatible versions. You can download the latest version from the GroupMail Customer Area.

2. Next, copy the Infacta folder from the old computer to a external drive or disk. You can find that folder at C:\Documents and Settings\<Your User Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Infacta. See below:

3. Then, simply paste the Infacta folder that you copied in the Application Data folder on your new XP computer (i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\<Your User Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\
